CGI is one of the largest processors and exporters of pulses in the United States. We own and operate a strategic network of processing plants across the northern tier of the United States. With the addition of our new, innovative, high-tech processing plant in Plentywood, MT, we have increased our ability to receive and process grower pulse crops by 60 percent; processing upwards of 100,000 MT per year. In this area alone, we work with more than 150 producers, taking in dry peas, lentils, and chickpeas from northeastern Montana and North Dakota. Our pulse processing facilities support local farmers in the communities we serve.
SPECIALTY CROP FACILITIES
Every load of grain, pulses, or oilseeds delivered to our elevators is graded for quality and easily segregated to meet our customers’ exact specifications. Our commitment to inventory management is unparalleled. Our processing facilities are Level 2 SQF Certified and feature modern equipment and technology to provide high-quality, cleaned, and uniform food products, ready to be shipped to your facility for further manufacturing or consumer distribution. Our plants are Certified Kosher and we have Certified Organic available as well to fill the demand for this expanding industry segment.
