Columbia Grain Internships – Cultivating the Ag Leaders of Tomorrow
Columbia Grain International (CGI) Internship Programs are available to college students and are hosted during the summer and presented as a comprehensive, hands-on learning opportunity at our many facilities across the northern tier of the United States. We offer internships in Grain Elevator Operations, Pulse Processing Plant Management, Merchant Training, Safety, Agronomy, and more.
Cultivate your career growth with an internship at Columbia Grain. Help us fulfill our mission of nourishing the world, safely while learning hands-on, marketable skills designed to foster the agriculture leaders of tomorrow. Our internship programs are offered as an 8 week session during the summer, mid-June to mid-August. Students will apply online for their desired internship, and if selected they will spend one week at our corporate headquarters in Portland, Oregon to learn about our global business and operations. They will then go to a country location for a 6-week program, which is geared to deepen their professional development. During the final week, they will return to our corporate headquarters in Portland to share their experience, test on their newly-learned capabilities, and meet with our HR team to discuss future career plans and goals.
